Public affairs and International activities

UPA participates in the work of several important parliamentary and governmental committees, either as a full member or through its representatives.

Legislative and regulatory bodies often consult UPA on relevant issues.
UPA also works to promote advertising internationally. The Association has strong connections with other national advertisers’ associations, and is a member of the World Federation of Advertisers Executive Committee. The Executive Committee, which is based in Brussels, Belgium, represents advertisers in the international institutions, including the United Nations, the European Union, UNESCO and the International Chamber of Commerce.
